Griffins run new training drill at Hawkins around 103 Hamilton Hawks Juniors

7 March 2017

"They are more like diseased CBD pigeons than Hawks" said one new Griffins player.

Assistant Coach Tristan Stark pulled out his ingenuity last Tuesday night at training to utilise the tennis court sized residual oval space left by the Hamilton Hawks for a new exercise.

"I figured, why not a sidestep drill" said Stark, whose face reflected the satisfaction of a Mexican tortilla ad.

Hamilton Hawks players looked amazed at some of the footwork on display by the Griffins trainers as they danced around all 103 Hamilton Hawks juniors. "It renewed my love for the great game" one Hawks U16 tight head prop said. "Their footwork dancing around our 103 Hawks players was inspired.", he said, wiping a tear from his eye.

The Hamilton Hawks committee decided to update their oversized map of Hamilton to mark out new football oval territories to conquer with their sheer military might.

"We have stormed Hawkins like it's the battle of Normandy for years and those pack of drunk rugby players say nothing", the president said before twiddling his moustache.

"Guess after Tuesday we will need to go back to rocking up uninvited to netball courts".

More to come.
